This Privacy Policy explains how Meshion AI ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

• Photos & Camera Images: If you use Image-to-3D or Multiview-to-3D, the photo(s) you select or capture are uploaded to generate a 3D model. We do not access your photo library except when you choose an image.
• Microphone & Voice Input: If you use voice-to-text to describe a 3D model, your speech is processed to convert it into text.
• Text Prompts: Any text you type or dictate to describe a 3D model.
• Purchase & Subscription Data: Your subscription status and token balance, linked to an anonymous account identifier, are stored so the app can track your entitlements. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.
• App Usage Data: Basic usage statistics (e.g. feature usage counts) to help us understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Advertising Identifier (IDFA): Only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, we use your advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you decline, you'll still see ads, just not personalized ones.

We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, GPS location, or contacts.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate 3D models from your photos or text prompts.
• To manage your subscription, token balance, and purchase history.
• To show advertisements (personalized only with your consent).
• To maintain, secure, and improve the app.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We share data with the following third-party services, solely to provide app functionality:

• Meshy AI — processes photos and text prompts to generate 3D models.
• OpenAI — processes text/voice prompts as part of generating your 3D model.
• Supabase — our backend database, storing your subscription and token data.
• Apple (StoreKit) — processes all in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Google AdMob — serves in-app advertisements and may use your advertising identifier (with your consent) for ad personalization.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf. Your uploaded content is never used by us for AI model training, advertising, marketing, or behavioral profiling — it is processed only to complete the transformation you requested.

4. Face Data Disclosure

Because some photos you upload may contain faces, we provide the following disclosure specifically about facial information.

What facial information do we collect? We do not collect or permanently store facial geometry, face templates, biometric identifiers, facial recognition information, or face maps.

How is your image used? Your uploaded image is used only to generate the 3D model you specifically requested. It is not used for AI training, advertising, user profiling, identity verification, or facial recognition.

Is facial information shared? Your image may be securely transmitted to our AI processing provider (Meshy AI) solely to generate your requested 3D model. No facial information is shared for marketing or analytics purposes.

Is face data stored? No. Your image is processed only for the duration of the active request. Once the generated 3D model is delivered, we do not retain your uploaded image.

5. Data Retention

Photos and prompts you submit are sent to our AI processing providers to generate your 3D model and are not permanently stored by us beyond what's needed to deliver the result. Subscription and token-balance data is retained for as long as your account is active, so we can honor your purchases.

6. Device Permissions

• Photos — lets you select an existing image and save AI-generated content back to your device.
• Camera — used only when you choose to capture a new photo for AI processing.
• Microphone — used only when you choose to dictate a text prompt.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time via your device Settings; the related features simply won't work without it.

7. Your Choices

• You can deny camera, microphone, or photo library access at any time via your device Settings.
• You can deny App Tracking Transparency permission at any time; you'll still see ads, just non-personalized.
• You can restore or manage your subscription via your Apple ID account settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Meshion AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information while it is being processed. Although no online system can guarantee absolute security, we work to maintain secure communication between the app and our trusted service providers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
